ANKA Workshop at AD France: the strength of Chilean design at Maison & Objet 2025
by sebastian kaczorowski
In its coverage of the Maison & Objet 2025 trade show, the prestigious magazine AD France highlighted ANKA Taller as part of the new generation of Chilean design, recognizing the originality, quality and local manufacturing that characterize our work.
Under the title “La force du design” , AD France presented the work of Chiara Antillo and Sebastián Kaczorowski, founders of ANKA Taller, describing how their pieces are inspired by the meditation postures of Buddhism and Hindu yoga, transforming those spiritual references into refined and rhythmic wooden structures.
The publication underscores the search for a poetic minimalism, an approach that resonates with the curatorial theme of this edition of the salon: Welcome Home by Amélie Pichard, focused on the renouveau (rebirth) of contemporary design.
The presented piece, part of the Mudra collection, embodies that synthesis between spirituality and architectural precision, where each wooden slat dialogues with the light and the natural environment, evoking calm, balance and concentration.
This recognition by AD France, one of the most influential international design magazines, reaffirms ANKA Taller's commitment to creating furniture with its own identity, connecting the material tradition of the southern world with a universal perspective.
