ANKA Workshop at Maison&Objet Paris 2025: Chilean design on the world stage

Maison&Objet, the world's most important design fair, brings together brands, designers, and curators from every continent in Paris each year. It's a space where trends are defined and the most relevant pieces of contemporary design are presented. Participating in this event has been a major milestone for us, a unique opportunity to showcase Chilean creativity and talent to an international audience.

Our participation
In Hall 5A – Stand M55, we present our Pliego chair collection ( Pliego Chair , Pliego Chair V2 and Pliego High Chair ), in addition to the Mudra chair , the piece that starts the entire homonymous collection.
The concept of the stand was built around two key pieces of our work: the Mudra chair and the Pliego chair , both displayed on plinths to highlight their foundational role in our design collections.
The other two pieces, Pliego V2 and Pliego Alta, were accompanied by large format fabrics in corporate colors, especially the orange that characterizes ANKA Taller, achieving visibility from a distance and reinforcing the brand identity.

The experience in Paris
The feedback we received was a pleasant surprise. From the specialized press to architects, designers, boutique shops, and curators, the reaction was one of great interest and enthusiasm.
We believe that not being immersed in the dynamics of European design allows us to look and create from another perspective, and that was precisely what attracted the most attention: presenting original, modern and unexpected designs.
For us, being at Maison&Objet was a big step: to demonstrate that we can compete at the level of designers from all over the world and live up to international criticism and scrutiny.

Impact on Chilean design
Our participation reaffirms that Chilean design can be present in the most demanding spaces in the world. Bringing our pieces to a fair of this magnitude not only opens commercial doors, but also validates Latin American creativity in a landscape dominated by major European brands.

What's coming
Maison&Objet gave us a boost and visibility, with key contacts, interested clients and international press coverage, including publications in AD France and Marie Claire Maison.
Our next steps will be to leverage this opportunity to secure sales in Europe and the rest of the world. Furthermore, we believe in the importance of establishing ourselves in Europe as a design brand, producing locally in high-quality factories and participating more actively in international trade fairs.
