In mid- 2022 , just a few months after the launch of the Pliego Chair , we were collecting some chairs used in a photoshoot for La Casa de Juana , a real estate brokerage that stands out for its focus on decorating and staging spaces before selling or renting a property.
It was at that moment that Macarena Whittle , then art director of La Casa de Juana, told us about her new project: the launch of her own interior design studio, Estudio Well . Her first big challenge would be the remodeling of the Verde Sazón restaurant , and she mentioned her interest in incorporating our Pliego Chairs into the design of the space. We thought it was an incredible opportunity!
A large-scale challenge
A few days later, we received a call from Roberto, owner of Verde Sazón , to confirm his interest and proceed with the manufacturing of the chairs.
It was the first time we produced such a large volume of furniture for a single project, which led us to move to a larger workshop to ensure delivery times and maintain the quality of each piece. It took three weeks of intense work , where we learned to optimize production, improve details, and understand our own limits as a design and manufacturing team.
A spectacular result
The final result left us proud . Verde Sazón had a refreshed aesthetic, where our Pliego Chairs were perfectly integrated into the design of the space, lending the restaurant identity and functionality.
The following year, Verde Sazón's interior design project was nominated for the "Building of the Year" award by ArchDaily magazine , an international recognition that filled us with satisfaction and reaffirmed the impact of our work on spatial design.
