What if we raised the Pliego Chair?
That was the first question we asked ourselves when a client asked us to design a high table to sit on the railing of their terrace. The table proposal was simple and functional, but we saw the perfect opportunity to take the Pliego Chair to a new level: transform it into a high stool .
When we shared the idea with the client, he thought it was an interesting proposal, so he gave us the green light to develop the design. Straight to the workshop!
A new design challenge
We took the Pliego Chair as a base, but made some key adjustments:

Taller frame to fit raised table.

Lower backrest to maintain a balanced proportion.
The result was a stool with the same minimalist, floating essence of the Pliego Chair, but with an even more radical and sophisticated aesthetic.
Strength and functionality
Just like its original version, the Pliego Stool maintains a solid construction. To ensure its durability, we performed several load and stability tests. The results were excellent! The stool supports over 150 kg , ensuring durability and comfort without compromising its lightweight design.
